Vibrate Higher

Good Vibes

The word Vibes has been floating around a lot lately. Let’s be honest, who hasn’t used #weekendvibes or #whateverdayoftheweekitisvibes before?

We all want to feel better in life, to have the best life possible. I literally want to glow with good energy. To get to that place, we need to be aware of what’s going on inside us and around us.

Vibrate higher. How can we do that? We need to first of all get rid of all the weight that lowers our vibrations. Literally trying to feed good vibes only, we need to learn to stay away from these. So we have to ask. What makes us lose our light?

Taking things personally

Holding onto the past

Fueling drama

Gossip

Poor Diet

Complaining all the time

Overthinking

Trying to please others

Enough negative, lets vibrate higher!!!

*try reading an inspirational, feel good book

Some life changing, changed my whole way of thinking books are

the zen book   by Daniel Levin

The Ultimate Happiness Prescription   by Deepak Chopra

The Alchemist   by Paulo Coelho

*clean your space

Another great read is Feng Shui Your Life by Jayme Barrett.

It explains how all the stuff in our lives is effecting the energy that surrounds us. What to do with it, how to help it, ways to cleanse spaces. This is actually where I learned the saging method I still use for cleansing today.

*LAUGH

😅 it feels great, it releases endorphins, and it makes you prettier 😏

*spend time in nature

Whether you just kick off your shoes and ground yourself where you are, take a quick trip to the beach to let the ocean water wash the bad vibes away, or just sit on your porch and listen to the wind, nature is such a calming influence. Just try it.

*watch what you eat

Everything has energy, even your food. To increase your vibe instead of weakening it, try to eat as many fresh, unprocessed foods as possible. Nourish yourself, mind and body. It’s always your choice. And drink plenty of water!

*meditate

Or just sit in silence, and let your thoughts go where they want. Just sitting and being silent can be beneficial in so many ways. Only when your mind is quiet can you hear the things that are supposed to come to you.

*tech detox

Everyone is attached to their phones.

Just take some time off. Take time off from seeing negative images in the news, from seeing judgmental posts, from getting sucked into fake drama, just put it down. Notice how many times you reach for it out of boredom. Instead, let your head have some room to come up with your own thoughts. Phones are a part of our daily lives, I get it, this doesn’t have to be forever. Just give yourself a little detox sometimes. Trust me, it feels great.

*clean your energy

Epsom salt baths, sage sticks, crystals, orgonite, there are so many ways to clean your own personal energy.Check out these cute sage sticks!!  They make me glow just looking at them!

None of us is perfect, we can’t live perfect lives every day. But if we just try to be mindful of these dos and dont’s, maybe we can start to develop new healthy habits that will pay off in a great way. Baby steps. .

I’m planning on going on a silent retreat this month, which is going to get me in nature, give me sooo much silent time to sit with my thoughts, and go on a tech detox. I’m super excited to recharge!

What are your favorite tips for recharging and feeling great??

I love getting lost in a book! Even though honestly school textbooks are the only kind I’ve been touching lately! I have to force myself to take time and shift my mind off of stressors. This was a great post, even when you know what you SHOULD be doing, it’s great to be reminded to slow down and be happy 🙂

Thanks Susanne! Right? Sometimes we just need a reminder of what we already know ❤

This was an amazing read, that Epsom salt bath sound Devine, and definitely that negative purge from the media. Have fun on that silent retreat.
